Following the release of the budget last month, the Personal Tax Allowance thresholds are due to increase from April 2019. These will set below for people who start paying income tax at;
20% increasing from £11,850 to £12,500
40% increasing from £46,350 to £50,000
These are both then due to increase in line with inflation. The new rates for Scottish tax payers are due to be announced on 12th December.
